Welcome to V-MAT UK (trading as Vedic Math Academy of Talent UK, accessible at vmat.uk). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our educational website, digital courses, interactive games, school licences, and physical learning workbooks. By registering, accessing, or purchasing through our platform, you enter into a legally binding agreement with V-MAT UK subject to the laws of England and Wales.


1. About Us & User Eligibility

This website is operated by V-MAT UK ("we", "us", "our"), having our principal UK registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

  • Parental Supervision for Minors: Our courses and games are designed for students aged 5 to 17. Users under 18 years of age must have their account registered or supervised by a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on their behalf.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify us immediately at info@vmat.uk if you suspect unauthorized access to your student profile.

2. Pricing, Currencies & Payment Security

All prices on vmat.uk are stated in British Pounds Sterling (£ GBP) and include any applicable UK taxes unless expressly noted otherwise.

  • Payment Methods: We accept major UK debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, and Google Pay through our secure payment gateway partner, Razorpay (certified PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant).
  • Subscription Passes: Monthly, 6-month, or 12-month access passes provide continuous access to relevant courses and games for the purchased term. You may cancel renewal at any time via your dashboard.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

We comply fully with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013:

  • Statutory Cooling-off Period: You have the right to cancel within 14 calendar days of purchase. When purchasing digital content, if you request immediate access and begin streaming or downloading, you acknowledge that your statutory 14-day cancellation right is waived under UK law.
  • V-MAT UK Goodwill 14-Day Guarantee: We provide an extended satisfaction guarantee: If you are dissatisfied and have completed less than 20% of your digital course within 14 days of enrollment, you may request a 100% full refund by emailing info@vmat.uk.
  • Processing Time: Approved refunds are credited back to your original UK card or payment method within 3 to 5 business days (maximum 14 days).

4. Physical Merchandise Delivery (Workbooks & Learning Kits)

For any physical books, practice kits, or printed materials ordered through our portal:

  • Dispatch & Processing: Orders are dispatched from our UK fulfillment center within 1 to 2 business days following payment confirmation.
  • UK Shipping Carriers & Timelines: Deliveries across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are handled by Royal Mail Tracked or established UK courier partners. Standard UK delivery takes 2 to 4 business days.
  • Damaged or Faulty Goods: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if physical goods arrive damaged or defective, you have a 30-day right to reject the item for a full refund or free replacement.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All curriculum designs, lesson videos, mathematical exercises, audio-visual materials, quiz questions, interactive games, logos, and software code on vmat.uk are the exclusive intellectual property of V-MAT UK and its licensors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence for individual educational use only. You may not copy, reverse engineer, reproduce, distribute, or publicly broadcast any content without our prior written consent.

6. Acceptable Use & Child Safety

Users agree to use our platform responsibly. You must not:

  • Attempt to circumvent digital rights management or security controls.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, automated scripts, or harmful files.
  • Share student login credentials with third parties or allow multiple households to share a single student seat.
  • Engage in abusive or inappropriate conduct on leaderboards or support channels. Accounts engaging in unauthorized activity may be suspended to safeguard other learners.

7. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to this, V-MAT UK will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, data, or educational opportunity arising from the use of our services.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions, and any non-contractual dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms.
